Free Shell Cleaning - Before & After
After regular use, debris can build up on handpieces. This is usually a representation of debris buildup internally. Each handpiece repaired by SNOW Dental Handpiece Repair, LLC includes shell cleaning and debris removal from optics to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

As identification bands age, they discolor and peel. Every repair includes I.D. band inspection and replacement if it is in deteriorated condition.

Handpiece Water Jet Cleaning
Debris can build up in water system lines and cause jet blockages. Water jet cleaning is included with each handpiece pneumatic turbine overhaul or electric gearset repair.
Handpiece Overhaul
As a handpiece ages during normal use, corrosion, debris and friction causes internal components to wear out. Overhaul requires complete disassembly with tedious cleaning and polishing of all internal components. The handpiece is then reassembled with new components within strict tolerances for safe and reliable use.
Optic Cleaning & Restoration
Debris buildup on optics causes dim light transmission. SNOW includes optic cleaning with each repair. Burned out or damaged bulbs and damaged circuitry can also cause frustration during use. SNOW repairs broken optics and faulty circuitry.
Quality Replacement Parts
Each repair is completed with either OEM or high quality aftermarket components that meet or exceed OEM quality and precision operation. Every repair includes a six (6) month warranty covering any wear, corrosion or drop damage to installed components with free round-trip shipping.
Handpiece Water Filter Cleaning
Debris can build up in water system filters and cause blockages. Water filter cleaning (when applicable) is included with each handpiece pneumatic turbine or electric gearset repair.
Handpiece Shell Polishing
Over time, handpiece shells can become worn and pitted from use and the occasional drop while being processed. Shell polishing is included with every repair when necessary to restore aesthetic appearance.

Handpiece Rethreading
Over time, handpiece coupler threads can become worn and non-functional. SNOW offers rethreading services to restore your handpiece to perfect operational condition. This service ranges from $35 - $99 depending on which handpiece needs the service due to the individual complexities of each handpiece. The worn threads are removed and a new stainless steel threaded sleeve is permanently installed to prevent future thread issues from occurring.
Electronic Hardware Repairs
When electronic issues occur with motor control units, lab handpieces or other applicable devices, SNOW offers electronic repairs on a case by case basis. Your equipment will be evaluated and repaired if a reliable repair is available. Pictured is an endodontic motor controller with power issues that was successfully repaired by SNOW at a fraction the cost of factory board replacement.
Coupler Repairs
With use, couplers can experience issues such as missing components, worn seals, corrosion, worn gaskets or drop damage while in process. SNOW repairs couplers on a case-by-case basis. This drop-damaged RQ-24 coupler was repaired with an in-house custom machined water jet tip. (Dime in photo for scale of precision machining)
